Trip to Malmo, Sweden

Today is Sunday, woke up early for a day trip to Malmo, Sweden, just 20 mins away from Copenhagen via train. Went off with Fiona, Mohan, David & Marnie, and it cost me 160DKK for a return trip. Malmo is the 3rd largest city in Sweden, contains many historic buildings and parks, and is also a commercial center for the western part of Scania. Malmo was ranked #4 in Grist Magazine's "15 Green Cities" list in 2007.

Arrived in Copenhagen on Sunday evening, directly took a taxi to the hotel. Most of the taxis here Merz and BMWs, rasa mcm big boss pulak bila naik kerete mewah ni. Staying at The Square Hotel, and suprisingly, it does not look the same as in the internet. I was fooled! The room is very small, with a single bed, and a tiny bathroom. Harga mcm bilik kat Mandarin Oriental, tapi rupa bilik macam bilik kat flat DBKL. Plan to move to another nice hotel, recommended by local people here.
Copenhagen ni takde la besar sgt, mcm Shah Alam aje la, and everywhere boleh nampak historical building zaman Viking dulu. Population abt 1.8 Mil people, and 32% of them kayuh basikal pergi kerja every morning. You can even rent a bike for a deposit of 20DKK.

Transit in London
|
|
|
Again, Im on a business trip, this time to Copenhagen in Denmark. Flight transited in London for 20 hours, so stayed in Radisson Hotel, Leicester Square. Went for a quick ronda-ronda around central London, had dinner at my all time fave place, Bali Bali, and the nasi goreng special still have the same taste, mmg sodap. Went off back to Heathrow early morning to catch flight to Copenhagen.

Tahnid & Cukur Jambul was done by Dr Abdullah Yassin at my parent's house on 6 Jan 2008. Majlis Aqiqah was held on 12 Jan 2008. Thanks to all my neighbours, collegues & friends who came to the occasion.

25th December 2007 was one of the happiest day in my life, wifey gave birth to a healthy baby boy weighing 2.7kg at An Nur Specialist Hospital in Bangi.
